For this tutorial you will need
Paint Shop Pro
The Following Colour Chart
Save and open in PSP.
Ok we are ready to start.
REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN
Step 1:
This is the outline we will be making. Mine has been resized a lot so you can see it clearly.
To make this easier I have numbered all pixels over 1.
NOTE: We will be adding the face at the end.
Open a new image 100 x 100 transparent.
Select the brush tool with the following settings.
Size: 1 - Hardness, Opacity and Density: 100
Zoom in to about 800% - 1000%
Set your foreground to colour 1 on the outline colour chart (#BA7848) and start at whichever point you prefer. I find it easier to start the highest point, in this case his ear. (You can move the image later using your move tool if you need to).
When you get to his inside ears (coloured lighter on the screen shot) change to colour 3 on the outline colour chart (#D99079)
Step 2:
When your outline is complete, select your magic wand and click inside the head.
Select colour 2 (#D5AD8F) on your bunny colour chart, or a colour of your choice and flood fill that selection.
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 64
Blur: 19
Shadow colour: Use your bunny outline.(#BA7848)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
If you want a fuzzy look to your bunny add noise - uniform and monochrome checked - 3%
Deselect.
Step 3:
Select your magic wand and click inside the folded down ear of the bunny.
Select colour 2 (#D5AD8F) on your bunny colour chart and flood fill that selection.
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 64
Blur: 9
Shadow colour: Use your bunny outline.(#BA7848)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
If you want a fuzzy look to your bunny add noise - uniform and monochrome checked - 3%
Deselect.
Step 4:
Select your magic wand and click inside the right ear of the bunny.
Hold down your shift key and make sure you select the two stray pixels as shown in the screen shot below.
Select colour 2 (#D5AD8F) on your bunny colour chart and flood fill that selection.
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 64
Blur: 3
Shadow colour: Use your bunny outline.(#BA7848)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
If you want a fuzzy look to your bunny add noise - uniform and monochrome checked - 3%
Deselect.
Step 5:
Select your magic wand and click inside the body of the bunny.
Select colour 2 (#D5AD8F) on your bunny colour chart and flood fill that selection.
Keep selected.

Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 64
Blur: 19
Shadow colour: Use your bunny outline.(#BA7848)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
If you want a fuzzy look to your bunny add noise - uniform and monochrome checked - 3%
Deselect.
Step 6:
Select your magic wand and click inside the left leg.
Select colour 2 (#D5AD8F) on your bunny colour chart and flood fill that selection.
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 64
Blur: 10
Shadow colour: Use your bunny outline.(#BA7848)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
If you want a fuzzy look to your bunny add noise - uniform and monochrome checked - 3%
Deselect.
Select your magic wand and click inside the right leg.
Repeat the instructions in Step 5.
Step 7:
Select your magic wand and click inside the inner area of the folded down ear of the bunny.
Select colour 4 (#EAC1B6) on your bunny colour chart and flood fill that selection.
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 80
Blur: 2
Shadow colour: Use your inner ear outline colour. (#D99079)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
Deselect.
Step 8:
Select your magic wand and click inside the inner area of the right ear of the bunny.
Select colour 4 (#EAC1B6) on your bunny colour chart and flood fill that selection.
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 80
Blur: 3
Shadow colour: Use your inner ear outline colour. (#D99079)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
Deselect.
Nearly done
Step 9:
Add a new raster layer and change your foreground to black.
Use the chart below to draw your bunny face.
When you get to the teeth outline change to colour 5 on the outline colour chart (#C0C0C0).
Fill the teeth with white.
Use your mover tool to move the face into position.
Merge all visible save as a png.
