Save and then open in PSP
Of course you are free to use any colours you want.
Ok we are ready to start.

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN

We will be be making the Mittens shown below. The outlines below have been resized a lot so you can see them clearly.
I have done the outline in 2 parts, we will be starting with the left Mitten.
To make this easier I have numbered all pixels over 1.
Step 1:
Open a new image 150 x 150 transparent.
Select the brush tool with the following settings.
Size: 1 - Hardness, Opacity and Density: 100
Zoom in to about 800% - 1000%
Set your foreground to colour 1 on the outline colour chart (#486046) or a colour of your choice and start to draw the top of your mitten.

Change the colours when shown on the outline.

When you have done all of the main mitten outline in colour 1 change to colour 3 on the outline colour chart (#DEC29E) or a colour of your choice and draw in fur cuff.

Finally change to colour 5 on the outline colour chart (#404040) or a colour of your choice and draw in the string linking the mittens together.

Step 2:
Stay on colour 5 on the outline colour chart (#404040) and continue drawing in the rest of the outline shown below changing colours as you go as shown on the outline.
NOTE:  The parts shown in PINK are the parts you have already drawn from the first outline.
Step 3: Fills
When your outline is complete, select your magic wand with the following settings and click inside the left Mitten.
Select colour 2 (#6ABC61) on your colour chart and flood fill this selection.
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 11
Shadow colour: Use your Mitten outline.(#486046)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.
Add noise - uniform and monochrome checked - 5%
Deselect.

Repeat for the other mitten.

Step 4: Fills
Select your magic wand and click inside the cuff of the left mitten.
Flood fill this selection with colour 4 (#FFFFFF).
Keep selected.
Selections float, Effects 3D effects, Cutout with the following settings
Vertical: 0
Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 3
Shadow colour: Use your cuff outline.(#DEC29E)
Make sure fill interior with colour is UNchecked.

Merge all visible and save as a png.
